I would like to remove files from FTP after 7 days of non activity. I was thinking to write a cron but would like to see if Rumpus has any features similar to this. You can check the "Enable Uploaded File Expiration" option there and set the number of days after which a file should be considered "expired". Then, you need to turn the option on for each user account used to upload the files you want removed by checking the "Delete Expired Files" box on the "Options" tab of the Define Users window. Note that this feature removes files X days after the file is uploaded. If the file isn't uploaded through Rumpus, Rumpus can't track or delete it after the expiration period. Also, the option doesn't reset the timer when the file is "touched" (downloaded). When you use this feature, Rumpus will simply delete the file the defined number of days after it is uploaded. I know the list can be seen with the FileWatch app, however this particular user who needs to see the list sounds a bit confused about the idea of using a separate program to view a list of files she?s dropshipped. If you are interested in taking advantage of any of the features listed below, this would be a good update to try. Now is the time to check out new features to make sure they work the way you need, while it's still easy to address shortcomings. John New features in 7.1 include: Quick Image Preview Simplified login with "Remember me on this computer" Automatic insertion of filename and file size in drop ship e-mails Support for Outlook and Entourage in FileWatch drop shipping Support for Web browser uploads greater than 2 GB (using compatible browsers) Full iPhone/iPad WebDAV support Improved drop box (blind upload), with automatic filename sequencing From rene at 20post.com Fri Jun 17 02:19:43 2011 From: rene at 20post.com (=?ISO-8859-1?Q?Ren=E9_Hedemyr?=) Date: Fri, 17 Jun 2011 11:19:43 +0200 Subject: [Rumpus-talk] Rumpus 7.1 Beta 2 In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: John, I would like to be able to choose a new file directly after drop shipping a file. As it is now I have to close the drop ship popup and click the menu for a new drop ship. Very often I drop ship several files at the same time. I never use the email function, I copy the generated link and paste it into an email. Also I would like the file name to be shown in the popup that shows the link, just for a reminder what file I drop shipped. Med v?nlig h?lsning / Kind Regards *Ren?
