Big time security hole. I tried define('FS_METHOD','direct'); in wp-config, and that helped a little but ran into permissions problems. The first thing you'll notice is a "Remember me on this computer" option on the login page. This feature isn't terribly exciting, but it's long overdue and will make life a little easier for end users. The bigger addition is called "Quick Image Preview". In thumbnail view, the "View File" option now displays a larger, but not necessarily full-size version of the file within the WFM interface. Users can choose "View" to see a browser-optimized version of the file, or choose "Download" to actually retrieve the full file for display on their local computer. For images and other display-oriented file types, it's pretty slick. If the file is a movie (the filename must end ".mov" on the test server), then the full size video plays right in the interface. Other specific file types (audio files, flash, etc.) may be added in the future. To see how it works: Server: testrumpus.dyndns.tv Username: test71 Password: claris You can upload new content to see how the system works with different file types, but please create test folders to keep the server neat and use the server responsibly. Again, movies must have a filename that ends ".mov" on the test server. I haven't done a lot of testing on PCs yet, and some tweaking needs to be done, though the interface works in general. On Macs using Safari, FireFox or Chrome, it looks pretty good. There may be a few bugs to iron out (filenames with apostrophes cause a problem, for example), but please feel free to report problems or suggestions. If you use Drop Shipping, FileWatch, or File Requests, the update is particularly worthwhile. As always, the new Rumpus package can be downloaded here: http://www.maxum.com/Rumpus/Download.html John Rumpus 7.0.3 ------------ The limit on the number of shipments displayed on the "Drop Shipments" activity tab has been increased. A problem that could cause the elimination of drop shipments with recipient e-mail addresses longer than 64 characters has been corrected. Increased maximum field size of "formvar" Event Notice data fields from 1k to 2k. Rumpus now trims filenames in FTP MacBinary downloads to 31 characters, avoiding MacBinary decoding problems in FTP clients. Logout administrative notices are now suppressed when no successful login is completed in a session. Drop shipped files sent using the "OS X Mail" option now appear in the Drop Shipments list to have a recipient of "Via OS X Mail". Drop shipments sent via the Web interface, but with only a URL generated, appear to have a recipient of "URL Only". When drop shipping files via FileWatch, spaces are now supported in the e-mail recipient field. A rare but serious bug which could cause drop shipments or file requests to be lost has been corrected.
