I modified the httpd.conf with the virtual host information from the faq. I also turned on the reverse proxy check box in the gui. So far no luck just a 503 error page. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. -Ian -- Ian Mazursky Owner PrePress Express / Photographer At Large 142 Hillanddale Dr., New Rochelle NY 10804 USA Tel: (914) 450-7144 Voip: (646) 652-6448 Fax: (917) 591-9117 Email: ian at prepressexpress.com Visit our new Web Store Now with thousands of new products at http://store.prepressexpress.com/ www.prepressexpress.com Drum Scanning Retouching Press Proofing Giclee and Large Format Printing www.tradeshowgraphix.com POP/POS Trade Show Displays Large Format Printing www.ianmazursky.com Photography Portraits Landscape Nature CG Art See our Blog at http://www.prepressexpress.com/blog.php -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... For example, admin notices include nightly status reports and notifications that user accounts have been disabled due to repeat incorrect login attempts. The message you are seeing is inserted into the message body of an Event Notice when you choose "Administrator Notice" from the "Event Type" pop-up on the Custom Message Body sheet. This is because the entire message body is generated by Rumpus for admin notices, so the message body for and admin notice is ignored. Which administrator notice (of the 3 available notices on the Admin tab of the FTP Settings window) are you trying to have sent? What event is it you trying to have notices sent for? Server returned SMTP code 553 Message-ID: <338851.83809.qm@web82202.mail.mud.yahoo.com> When any user has his email address filled in (in the User Info section), and when that user tries to send a file via Drop Ship they get this error (shows up on a rumpus page) - Error sending mail. Server returned SMTP code 553 ("Requested action not taken: mailbox name not allowed.") while sending MAIL FROM command. Then from my?regular email (I use AT&T) I get this email - Important: Verification Required - Action Needed Dear?AT&T Internet Services?Member, We have received questions regarding the following error message which is received by customers when they send e-mail using a non-verified e-mail address:?Unable to send the message. Please verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: 553 From: address not verified.? I understand what is happening - my mail server gets an email request via SMTP but it can't verify the address. BTW, I do receive email notices for uploads etc., just fine, but drop ships (w/ user email field populated) won't go through. My fix is to remove their email address from their account info settings and then it works (but obviously the recipient can't see who it's from). Of course my email is there, but not theirs because I removed it. Not sure what to do. I can't add every single email account of every user in my AT&T email account, there's just too many, and even when I tried to add just one (in my AT&T verify/add account/email) it still didn't work and the error code 553 popped up. But you're right, this is an oversight, and is on the list of things to be addressed in version 7. Drop Shipping has proven to be very popular, so it's getting a lot of attention for v7. Among other things, you'll be able to monitor outstanding drop shipments and file requests, manually delete them, etc. Expect a beta release in July. Once the beta is available, it'll be a great time for any other Drop Ship and File Request suggestions. This release corrects fairly minor problems, but is recommended for all Rumpus 6.2 users. Full details below. John ------------ Rumpus 6.2.9 ------------ Additional security checks have been added to several WFM admin functions (remove user, view and edit user, etc.) to prevent one Rumpus administrator from working with a user account that falls outside their Home Folder. When the Web admin "Create User" function fails (due to a duplicate account name, for example), the existing matching user account is no longer automatically selected and displayed. Rumpus now responds to the "OPTS UTF8 ON" command with an "OK" message, avoiding warning messages in FireFTP and possibly other FTP clients. When sending TLS encrypted mail, Rumpus now sends an additional greeting after starting TLS, for compatibility with the MS Exchange SMTP service. A rare case where the File Request form, used with the Drag & Drop applet, would not function correctly has been fixed. Drop shipments now work correctly when the sender sends the file from an aliased folder. When WFM file actions are displayed as a pop-up menu, the "Send File Link" menu item is now correctly displayed as an option.
