Yes, the blocked list will work as expected for SSL connected clients  
(FTPS and HTTPS).  Logs will also correctly record the client  
address.  Setup is also easier, with better error reporting and  
reliability should be improved, too.  The biggest benefit, I think, is  
improved FTPS support, which is more secure, simpler for end users,  
and doesn't require access on the alternate port (990).
