And with the growl server turned off Rumpus reported the growl message worked properly. I did how ever solve my issue by going to the Rumpus server machine and copying: ~/Library/Application Support/Growl/Tickets/Rumpus.growlTicket and placed the copied file in the same place on all the other machines. If you run Rumpus 6.2 and use both Drop Ship and File Request features, this is an important update. It corrects a bug that can cause Drop Ship URLs to prematurely expire, which can obviously effect service. As always, please let me know if you have questions or problems. John Rumpus 6.2.4 Updates: Added the WFM interface token "" to allow the current user's e-mail address to be displayed or used in a WFM page. When an Upload Center form is displayed for a File Request upload, the form is now displayed with the correct width. Added encoding so that filenames that include the '#' character are processed by javascripts correctly. Corrected a very rare problem that could cause certain custom event notice bodies to include extra garbage text in the e-mail message when sent. Corrected a problem that could cause Drop Ship files to be prematurely expired. When a users uploads a file for drop shipping, the regular upload notice specified for their account is no longer triggered. If users don't identify themselves, there's no way for Rumpus to send them a pick up notice. The solution is simple... Give each user their own login, with the e- mail address set correctly for each account. To allow them all to manage content in the same folder, just set the Home Folder for each account to the same folder. This has additional benefits, as well. Most notably, it's more secure, because you'll be able tell who did what by looking at the log files, should that become an issue. If users share a name/password, you have no way to track user activity individually. John On Feb 11, 2010, at 11:31 AM, Andy Tough wrote: > I think what I am after is slightly different. You could tweak the config file, but as soon as you open the Web Settings window, Rumpus will probably reset it to a pre- determined value. This would be less reliable and more of a pain than just altering the template page directly. You are correct that the downside of customizing templates is that future template updates need to be merged with the customizations. In this case, it's a simple find & replace, so while you do have to remember to re-make your customization after a template update, at least it's quick and easy. I've just finished a new function that makes generating CSRs and installing certificates easier, and would like feedback on it. So, if you need to set up SSL, especially using a purchased certificate from a certificate authority, please send e-mail to "support at maxum.com". The new function makes purchasing certs a lot easier, but it can be a tricky process. I'd like to know if anything in the interface needs to be clarified. Thanks, John
