Looks good, I recommend that the file list box be centered.  Being on the left side, under the menu box, it seemed that there should be something on the right 'blank' area.


On the overall scheme (boxes or not), have the icons have a title, alt or both tags so that when a user hovers over an icon, an explanation pops up.  The Notes icon threw me until I clicked on it.  

Also nice to be able to view spotlight comment 'notes' on folders, not just files.
